Scotland will face Grand Slam-chasing Ireland at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Sunday 12th March during the penultimate round of the 2023 Six Nations Championship.
The winner of this match will be presented with the Centenary Quaich, which was first awarded in 1989 and was most recently won by Ireland following their 26-5 victory over Scotland in last year's Championship.
Scotland will also be playing for the Six Nations Triple Crown, having already beaten England and Wales.
Scotland and Ireland have contested a total of 139 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1877. Ireland have won 68 of those matches, whilst Scotland have won 66 matches. There have also been five drawn matches between the two nations.
