The finals for the men’s singles draw at the 2023 Mutua Madrid Open is down to top-seeded Carlos Alcaraz challenged by unseeded Jan-Lennard Struff. At the start of this tournament, these two were about as far about as possible with Alcaraz coming in as the top seed and Struff as a qualifier that needed to win extra matches to get into the tournament, then upset everyone he faced all the way to the championship match. Alcaraz has not dropped a set so far this tournament and looks to win his fourth tournament of the year and 10th overall in his career just after he turned 20 years old.
